Organic Kapok Bumpers - Cot

Materials: 100% vegan, organic and hypoallergenic kapok; made without chemical treatments, so there’s no need to pre-wash.

Dimensions & fit: 28 × 180 cm; fits a 60 × 120 cm baby cot. Use two bumpers to cover all sides.

Natural properties: Kapok’s natural bitter substance makes it antibacterial and resistant to dust mites.

Care essentials: Air monthly to maintain structure and a healthy sleep environment. Spot clean small stains and wash only if strictly necessary.

Delivery: 7–10 day delivery window.

Washing instructions:

• Wash alone at 40°C to protect the kapok fibers (60°C is possible if necessary).
• Choose a short program; do not soak. Select a high spin at the end.
• Use a gentle detergent without enzymes or bleach, such as Cocoon soapberries.
• Do not use fabric softener.
• For quicker drying, add an extra spin (e.g., 1200 rpm) and dry immediately after washing.
• Be extra careful with combo washer–dryers, which can be less effective for kapok.

Drying instructions:

• Tumble dry alone.
• Kapok takes time to dry—use wool dryer balls to reduce drying time and gently separate fibers; do not use tennis balls.
• Select a 30–40 minute program on medium heat. Every ~30 minutes, let the bumper cool to room temperature and check moisture; repeat until slightly moist.
• Finish drying in a warm place and avoid over-drying to prolong product life.
